Lightning Sign Kevin Ware

Wednesday, August 29, 2018 (LONDON, Ontario) - The London Lightning are proud to announce the signing of former University of Louisville Guard, Kevin Ware for the 2018-2019 season. 

"Kevin brings us a versatile combo guard who is a tenacious defender. He fits well into our style of play and brings experience from high level European play." said head coach Keith Vassell. 

Ware has spent the last two years playing in Finland, the Czech Republic, and last year in Greece's top division. The 6'2", New York native is excited for his opportunity with the Lightning this season. 

"It was an easy choice choosing to play for the London Lightning this upcoming season. It's a winning organization and the best team in a competitive league. I think I fit in perfect with the system and hope to play as well as the guys before me."
