Lightning Announce Final Roster

Tuesday, November 7, 2017 (London, ONTARIO) – The London Lightning are excited to announce the final roster for the 2017 -18 NBL-C season where they look to defend their championship title.

The roster features six players from last season's championship team, including both MVP's Royce White and Ryan Anderson. The roster also features five Canadians; Martin Dixon-Green, Sefton Barrett, Yohanny Dalembert, Garrett Williamson, and Joel Friesen.

Lightning head coach, Keith Vassell, has built a well-rounded team that can compete at both ends of the floor, "We have a roster with good size and athleticisms and will be capable of playing a very good level defence while also being talented enough to be very productive on the offensive end."

Coach Vassell knows he has a solid veteran presence but he is looking forward to seeing what the new-comers can bring. "We also have a couple very strong first years, and Canadian players."

Other key names include Mo Bolden, an experienced player who joined the Lightning late last season from the NBA G-league, plus NBL veterans Marcus Capers and Kirk Williams Jr.

Fans and media are invited to meet the team following the exhibition game this Sunday, November 12th as they take on the Windsor Express at Budweiser Gardens at two p.m.
