Lightning Host River Lions Tonight

The London Lightning look to continue their strong team play tonight as they take on the Niagara River Lions at Budweiser Gardens, doors open at six p.m. with tip-off set for seven p.m.

The Lightning (3-5) are coming off a big 116-103 win over the central division leading St. John's Edge this past Saturday. Ryan Anderson lead the Lightning with a triple double of 14 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists.  Kyle Johnson made his debut back with the black and yellow and poured in 31 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Marcus Capers and Garrett Williamson have been consistently strong throughout the start of the season, making a difference at both ends of the floor.

The last time the Lightning and River Lions met was Friday December 8th, where the Lightning won 108-96. The River Lions (6-4) are coming off a 111-90 win over the Windsor Express last night and will look to extend their win streak to three games.

Royce White will sit out of his third straight game tonight as part of a three game suspension.

Santa will be visiting Budweiser Gardens and accepting last minute wish lists while handing out holiday treats. Tickets are available at Budweiser Garden's box office. You can follow along tonight on twitter or watch live here.
