Lightning Look To Continue Win Streak

The London Lightning (5-5) are back home at Budweiser Gardens tonight  for the first of back to back games this weekend as they host the Windsor Express (4-5) at seven P.M.

The Lightning are currently on a three game win streak after a 104-92 win in Kitchener earlier this week.  Four players recorded double-doubles for the bolts – Royce White, Marcus Capers, Ryan Anderson and Kyle Johnson.

The Lightning welcome back Doug Herring Jr. who was a member of last season's NBL Championship team. Herring averaged 12 points, seven assists and five rebounds per-game in 2016-17 and will fill the true point guard role the Lightning have been missing. Herring Jr. has great court vision to set up his teammates to score but is also a threat from the outside.  He will be in the lineup tonight.

The Express won the last meeting, December 9th, 108-91. Maurice Jones of the Express lead all scorers with 28 points, while for the Lightning, Capers notched a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Look for the Lightning to continue to get everyone involved by moving the ball and maximizing their fast break opportunities. Tickets are still available at the Budweiser Gardens, box office or under the 'Tickets' tab on our website. If you are unable to attend the game tonight, click here to watch live.
