Lightning Host KW For First Home Game of 2018
The London Lightning are on a six game winning streak and sit in second place of the central division with a record of 8-5. The bolts are at home for two games this weekend, the first against the KW Titans (2-6) tonight at seven P.M. at Budweiser Gardens in London.
The Lightning are coming off a thrilling 123-119 win in overtime against the Niagara River Lions earlier this week. They have only faced the Titans once so far this season and came away with a 104-92 victory in Kitchener. on boxing day. Royce White lead the way with 28 points and 13 rebounds, Marcus Capers, Kyle Johnson and Ryan Anderson each added double-doubles. Tramar Sutherland was KW's leading scorer with 23 points and seven rebounds.
Watch for the Lightning to continue to focus on transition offence as the Titans are top three in the league for lowest points allowed per game (104).
Mo Bolden will be in the line up tonight for the first time this season since injuring his finger. Kyle Johnson will not dress due to a lower body injury.
