Lightning Host Titans Tonight

The London Lightning (10-5) currently sits atop the central division and are on an eight game winning streak. They look to make it nine in a row tonight as the KW Titans (2-8) return to Budweiser Gardens in London for the second time in a week.

The last meeting between the two teams was Friday, January 5th.   Tramar Sutherland nailed a three pointer at the buzzer for the Titans to tie the game at 99 and send them to overtime.  The Lightning controlled the extra frame with big performances from Mo Bolden and Royce White. The bolts came away with a 115-106 win.

In his first game back from injury Bolden was key off the bench recording 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists. White was dominant inside pouring in 37 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Garrett Williamson and Doug Herring Jr each added 14 points. Derek Hall was big inside for the Titans recording 25 points, 15 rebounds and six assists.

Look for the Lightning to continue to move the ball to find the open shooter while maximizing on their fast break and inside-out play. Bolden will be key on the defensive end to minimize Hall's effectiveness for KW and Ryan Anderson and Herring Jr. will continue to knock down big shots while creating opportunities for their teammates especially on transition.

Marcus Capers (concussion) and Kyle Johnson (lower body injury) both remain out of the lineup for tonight's game.

Doors open at six p.m. with tip-off at seven p.m. Tickets are available at the Budweiser Gardens box office. Fans who cannot attend the game can follow along on Twitter, with live stats or watch live here.
