The London Lightning Battle the Titans

Wednesday, January 10, 2018 (London, ON) – The London Lightning faced the KW Titans for the second time in a week and controlled the play from start to finish to come away with a 129-98 win and extend their winning-streak to nine.

Head Coach, Keith Vassell, is please with the team and the current success but says, "It's one game at a time… We won nine games in a row but you have to take it one game at a time. Last time we played those guys it was over time. I'm happy with the run but at the end of the day you can't look past your next opponent, you can't look past the next quarter, all you can do is look at the game and each possession and take it for what it is."

Ryan Anderson was all over the court tonight and was one assists short of a triple-double notching 19 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists while shooting 45% from the three-point line. "I've been right there like five times, either you can get it [a triple double] or you don't. The game has a nature to it. You don't want to disrespect the nature of the game. Take the game for what it gives you and be appreciative."

Royce White was the leading scorer for the Lightning with 24 points along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Mo Bolden added 16 points and nine rebounds while Garrett Williamson chipped in 15.

The next Lightning home game is this Saturday, January 13th as the Lightning get their first look at the Moncton Magic. Tip off is set for 7 PM at Budweiser Gardens on Saturday. The Lightning will be wearing specialty camouflage jerseys in association with General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada, there will be a silent auction on the concourse thought out the game for fans to bid on the jerseys.
