Lightning Visit Hurricanes for 2017 NBL-C Finals Rematch

The London Lightning (14-5) wrap up their east coast road trip against the Halifax Hurricanes (10-7) in a 2017 NBL-C Finals rematch at one P.M. EST this afternoon.

The only meeting between the two teams so far this season was the Lightning home opener in November 2017 when they raised their championship banner and received their rings. The Bolts came away with a 112-99 win.

Other than their home opening win there were struggles early on in the season for the Lightning who started 2-5 before going on their current 12 game win streak. The team that the Hurricanes saw in November is not the same team they will see today. Doug Herring Jr. and Mo Bolden both rejoined the black and yellow after their first game against the Hurricanes, and the team as a whole has clicked on offense.

The Lightning are looking for win number 13 which will help strengthen their hold on first place in the league. The Hurricanes will aim to protect home court and break the tie for first place in the Atlantic Division with a win.

Ryan Anderson will return to the lineup for the Lightning after serving a one game suspension. Kyle Johnson is still inactive with a lower body injury.
