Lightning Win Streak Snapped by Hurricanes

Sunday, January 21, 2018 (Halifax, NS) – The London Lightning trailed the Halifax Hurricanes 27-40 after one quarter and could never recover. The Hurricanes ended the Lightning's 12 game winning-streak defeating them 131-103.  

In recent games the Lightning have been able to come from behind to win in the closing minutes but today the Hurricanes were too much. Hurricanes' Antoine Mason lead all scorers with 32 points.  Garrett Williamson lead the way for the Lightning with 19 points, seven rebounds and two assists, while Royce White, Doug Herring Jr. and Ryan Anderson each added 17.

The London Lightning return to Ontario with an overall record of 14-6. The Lightning remain on the road for their next game on Sunday, January 28th as they visit the Windsor Express for a two P.M. tip-off. Stay tuned to www.lightningbasketball.ca for live stream and updates.
