1. A Familiar Face Returns

Elliott Etherington returns to the London Lightning as the newly hired head coach. Replacing the former Keith Vassell, Etherington will make his head coaching debut tonight against the Five.

Etherington was the assistant coach all of last season. He had the opportunity to be head coach for one game last season when Vassell served a team suspension.

With some familiar faces from last season, Etherington should have an easier transition into his new role. "I think all in all we have to focus on tough defense and our principals, make sure to be on the same page. If we can do all of that combined with positive energy and togetherness, sky's the limit for this team."

2. Moving Forward

With last weekends game in the past, the Lightning will be looking to make a fresh start when they head up north to Sudbury. The Lightning will have their work cut out for them as they are taking on a talented Sudbury team that sits near the top of the standings.

3. Previous Match

The last time the Lightning faced off against the Five was back on November 22, 2018. In Sudbury's inaugural home game, The Bolts played nice as the Five beat the Lightning 112-107. A recap of the game can be seen below:
