2: Momentum Is Building:
With the new year comes new opportunities and with the recent wins the London Lightning have had, there's a sense of renewed energy in the air. That energy mixed with a supportive hometown fan base and you have a winning combination for success tonight. Fans can look forward to a fast-paced neck and neck game that will be talked about for weeks.
3: A Focus on fitting in:
All eyes will be on Alex Johnson, a recent addition to the London Lightning Team but a veteran in the NBLC with his career starting in 2012. Coach Elliott Etherington shared his thoughts this morning, " Well I can't say enough about Alex and how well he's fit into the team culture we're trying to build. His solid relationship with the other vets on our team is overlooked. There's no real adjustment period. He's been able to come in and be himself, do his thing and fit right in. So moving forward with our minimal practice time and heavy game schedule that experienced voice from his position is vital." Johnson has played 5 games for the Lightning and he's one to look out for tonight!
