FCPC Pre-Game Inspection: Jan. 12 vs Express

1: Headed back to Windsor.

With The London Lighting falling short on their last matchup with The Windsor Express back on December 28th/2018  (108-100) The bolts are eager to make things right on the court.  As they head down to Windsor, they will be getting in the right frame of mind to succeed.  Head Coach Elliot Etherington reflects on the team's efforts to improve   ""We spent a lot of time looking at film and preparing for ourselves. We looked at our good and bad qualities, areas to improve, areas to build upon and the guys openly spoke on how to maximize each other. It was a good session building and preparing because right now we are our own biggest challenge at times."  We have a feeling that these extra prep sessions will help push the Bolts ahead at the game today.

New Year -  New Tricks :

2: Newly acquired point guard Alex Johnson who played for The Windsor Express until late December 2018, is expected to rise to the challenge and show off his new-skill set to his former teammates.  Alex had mentioned in the past. " I'm ready to help in any way to add to London's winning ways."  So far based off what we've seen already in 2019, he's doing just that!

3: A Focus on Defense:

They always say a strong offence is a strong defence, and with The Windsor Express pushing hard as they do, the Lightning will need to take stock and up their defensive strategy to make their highly anticipated comeback tonight at the WFCU Centre in Windsor!
