FCCP : 2:00 PM VS Saint John Riptide

1: Picking up the Pieces

When The London Lighting dropped their first home season game losing 111-87 to the Saint John Riptide on December 8th.2018, it was a signal. A signal for a change in strategy and to pick up the pieces, to learn from their loss and move forward as a team.  In 2019 the bolts have grown together, and that can be felt throughout the league and has been a primary focus since Head Coach Elliot Etherington took over the reins on December 15th.

2: For The Fans :

One thing the London Lighting has over any visiting team is a wholesome spirited fan base that supports the team whether their behind in points or are standing proud as the lighting finish on a high note.  With the game being on home turf this afternoon at the Budweiser Gardens the energy of new and seasoned fans alike will give a boost in morale and will be a real advantage over the riptide.

3:  What to look forward to:

After dropping the last game to The Riptide, we can look forward to Marcus Capers kicking things up a notch as he previously lead the team offensively with 14 Points and six rebounds. It will be interesting to see if he can not only match his performance but up the ante and use the combined all-star efforts of Mo Bolden, Xavier Moon and Marvin Phillips to have a successful rematch against the Saint Johns Riptide.
