FCFP Pre-Game Inspection: Feb 2 at Hurricanes

1: Heading towards the storm, but Lightning is coming

The Lightning have their final game of this east coast road trip before they head back to Ontario. They head into Halifax coming off their buzzer beater victory against the Highlanders. The Lightning have played strong and finished out games close for the past couple weeks but have had trouble closing out. Their trouble the past 2 games has been in the 3rd quarter, they have had the lead heading into halftime but have not kept the momentum going and have had to catch-up in the fourth. If the Lightning can keep their strong play going after halftime and respond to the Hurricanes adjustments then this could be a great game for the Bolts

2: Capers strong in the Cape

Marcus Capers, who is typically more of defensive anchor and rebounder but last night he was able to help more on the scoring side with 21 points on 60% shooting from the field and 9 of 12 from the free throw line. With other typically high scoring players not being able to find their form or not playing due to injury, Marcus was able help carry the load on both sides of the ball and help keep the team in the game and more importanly help win the game.
