Lightning doesn’t strike twice. London, February 14th, 2024

In a highly anticipated matchup, the London Lightning faced off against the Sudbury Five in an electrifying game that left fans on the edge of their seats. Despite coming back from a 20-point deficit, the London Lightning ultimately fell short, succumbing to the Sudbury Five with a final score of [101-104].

Saturday's prior match, which they won by 16 points, put forth a fierce battle to stay up with their rivals and come out on top. Though they played with determination until the very end of the game, the Five also showed themselves to be a formidable foe, making smart plays and taking advantage of all scoring opportunities. Notwithstanding the result, the Lightning demonstrated perseverance and sportsmanship, winning the respect and admiration of both opponents and supporters. The London Lightning is still dedicated to its mission of winning and elevating London's stature as it reorganizes and prepares for upcoming games. New additions to the team should illustrate a fierce look into upcoming games.
