LONDON LIGHTNING SECURES ANOTHER W AGAINST SUDBURY 5

London, ON - March 5, 2024 - The London Lightning continues to fascinate fans with a stunning performance against the Sudbury 5 in an intense battle at Bud Gardens. The game, which again kept fans on the edge of their seats, culminated in a breathtaking 120-107 victory for the Lightning.

 

From the opening tip-off, both teams demonstrated their tenacity and skill, delivering a back-and-forth contest. However, the London Lightning's determination and unwavering spirit ultimately prevailed, particularly in a scintillating fourth-quarter performance.

 

Leading the charge for the London Lightning was forward Billy White, whose exceptional display on the court left fans and opponents in awe. White's remarkable 37-point contribution proved instrumental in propelling the Lightning. White was short only 9 points to set the all-time record in the BSL.

 

Additionally, Nick Garth's unwavering determination and relentless effort throughout the game exemplified his grit and resilience. Garth's stellar performance not only bolstered the team's offensive efforts but also served as a testament to the dedication of every member of the Lightning roster.

 

Commenting on the team's triumph, Coach Doug Plumb expressed his pride in the players' exceptional performance, stating, "Tonight's victory is a testament to our players' hard work and dedication. We’re a 4th quarter team and we will outplay every time."
