London Lightning Achieve Victory Over West Virginia Grind with Nick Garth Setting New BSL 3- Point Record

The London Lightning triumphed over the West Virginia Grind 138-104, showcasing an extraordinary performance by Nick Garth who capitalized on breaking the BSL 3-point record with an astounding 11 3-pointers. The game started with immense energy from both teams, but it was Garth who quickly stole the spotlight, after sitting in the first quarter, Garth emerged from the bench sinking one three-pointer after another and demonstrating unparalleled shooting accuracy throughout the game. His record-breaking performance not only secured the win for the Lightning but also solidified his position as a standout player in the league.

However, the game was not without its twists and turns. In the second quarter, Lightning's key player Billy White was ejected from the game, adding a dramatic element to the game. White and the Grind’s Cedric Woodsen got into a scuff after Woodsen dropped White to the ground. Despite this setback, the Lightning players rallied together, illustrating their sportsmanship and grit to secure the win.

The atmosphere in the Bud was electric, with fans on the edge of their seats as they witnessed history in the making. The support and enthusiasm of the crowd undoubtedly fueled Nick Garth to showcase his talent. With this crucial win, the London Lightning now set their sights on Newfoundland, where they will face three back-to-back games in their quest to claim the coveted first seed in the league standings.

The team also signed former Montreal Toundra player Antoine Mason late Tuesday night. Antoine is the son of former NBA player Anthony Mason. Mason was suited up Wednesday as he must play 4 games to qualify for playoffs. Following these games on the rock, the Lightning will be gearing up for playoffs set to start next weekend.
