Lightning with a back to back victory

Lightning with a back to back victory

The London Lightning came out on top last night with a victory over the Newfoundland Rogues in a high-octane matchup. The game showcased stellar performances from key players, including Billy White, Chris Jones, and newcomer Devon Baulkman, leading the Lightning to a resounding win. Billy White's commanding presence on both ends of the court proved crucial, as he delivered a standout performance with 28 points. His unwavering determination and skill set the tone for the Lightning's dominance throughout the game.

Player of the Game honours went to Chris Jones, whose exceptional playmaking abilities and clutch shots in critical moments propelled the team to victory. Jones' leadership on the
court and ability to rally his teammates were instrumental in securing the win for the Lightning. This performance is even more notable as Jones played with a broken nose, which he sustained against Montreal.

Making his mark in his 2nd game with the team, Devon Baulkman showcased his talent and versatility, making significant contributions on offence and defence. His seamless integration into the team's strategy bodes well for the Lightning's future success this season. The game was also met with some challenges as the shot clock went down in the 1st quarter, despite the delay both teams agreed to play with only one shot clock which had fans rallying together to help out with the countdown.

With this impressive win, the Lightning reaffirmed their position in the Basketball Super League, setting the stage as the final games of the regular season approach.
