Lightning secure a needed W against the Titans

Lightning secure a needed W against the Titans

The London Lightning electrified the court as they secured a commanding 111-108 victory over the Kitchener Titans. The standout performances of Jermaine Haley Jr., Chris Jones, and Billy White were instrumental in securing this crucial win for the London Lightning. Together, they contributed over 60 points, showcasing their exceptional talent and dedication to the team success.

"We knew this game was going to be a challenge, but our players showed incredible determination and teamwork throughout" commented Coach Plumb, reflecting on the team's performance. Jermaine, Chris, and Billy were outstanding tonight, leading by example and delivering when it mattered most. At one point, the Lightning strategic gameplay and unwavering focus allowed them to establish a formidable 20-point lead over the Kitchener Titans, demonstrating their dominance on the court. The team's cohesion and adaptability were evident, ensuring a thrilling and hard-fought victory until the final buzzer.

We are proud of this win, but we remain focused on our ultimate goal remarked GM Mark Frijia. Every game is a stepping stone, and tonight performance shows the depth and determination of our team.

With this impressive win, the London Lightning still stay strong at 2nd in the overall standings. The team will play their final regular season home game on April 24th at Budweiser Gardens before heading East to Newfoundland.
