FCFP Pre-Game Inspection: Mar 31 vs Express

FCFP Pre-Game Inspection: Mar 31 vs Express

1: Final Regular Season Games
This afternoon makrs the final game of the regular season for the Lightning this year. Over the past seven years the Lightnign have been in existence, they have built up quite the record for the last game of the season. The Bolts have a recroard of 6-1 with six being home games and one away game against the Island which happen to be the game they lost. Over those seven games, they have a scoring differential of plus 78, most of which coming from two blowout victories. London has only played Windosr once on the last game back in the 15-16 season which they won by 6 points. Guys will need to step up to beat Windsor who has had a rough patch in March but have still played well and had some games get close against the Titans and league-best Magic as well as us on Friday. The Lightning are one of the longest-tenured teams in the NBLC and will look to continue their history on Sudnay with another victory on the final day.

2: A Test of Depth
London has been a team this year that does not have one stand out player but a collection of guys that each have good skills in multiple areas. They are spread out amongst the starters and bench, so they never have a lapse on either side of the floor. The Express have had some roster turnover over the past couple weeks, releasing two bench players that got significant minutes usually, that has affected the chemsitry of the team and given them fewer players to use. This will cause them to lean on their starters and their two bigger bench players for significant minutes and scoring whcih can still because those players have the ability to have a big impact. However it will make it so they are on the floor more often causing them to tire faster. The Lightning's depth, will be their key to capitalize on the lack of depth on Windsor's behalf. Look for strong outings from high energy players off the bench in Xavier Moon, AJ Gaines, and Kirk Williams Jr. They always come out with good speed, harassing ball handlers, attacking defenders, and making good smart players which will make it a lot harder on the opposing defense to stop them from doing what they want to do.
