1. Year of The Moon
Second year guard, Xavier Moon, has been ballin' out in the new year. In the two games played in January, Moon is averaging a near triple-double of 33 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. His contribution has been huge, leading to two Lightning wins despite the team having only eight available players. Moon will look to continue is fire shooting tonight against the Subdury Five and help the Bolts go 5-1 on the young National Basketball League of Canada season.
2. Banged up Bolts.
The Lightning currently only have eight available players as several key players are listed as day-to-day. Omar Strong (hip), Mo Bolden (shoulder), Jaylon Tate (ankle) and Marvin Binney (hamstring) have all missed several games apiece while Tate is still waiting to make his Lightning debut. Despite the injuries, the Lightning are 2-0 with an 3-man bench and a win tonight would be quite the accomplishment for the team.
3. Where to Watch.
In the Budweiser Gardens of course! If you can't make it out to the Bud, all London Lightning home games can be watched on Rogers TV local channel 13 an online at www.nbclive.ca.
